Clik here to view.Yesterday was a very happy day, my oldest brother welcomed his second son, Daniel Carsun!
As I was standing alone in the hallway of the hospital yesterday waiting for my brother to announce the c-section had gone well and everyone was okay, I started reflecting. There really isn’t a lot of time that goes by where I don’t look back on the days my kids were born. I love to talk about it, and I love to brag about it like any mama would, but there is always a little space kept in my mind for those two moments of my life. Something I treasure and think about when I want butterflies in my tummy and a smile on my face. I looked down at my feet at one point yesterday and felt some tears build up knowing that our two babies are it, but also knowing that the two babies I’ve been blessed with are absolutely perfect and I’m so lucky that they were made especially for me. Happiness is deepened within you when a baby is born, and that emotion just completely took over me yesterday. The best part was I also saw it in my brother, and that was a truly magical thing. That moment I saw his face look up at me as he was wheeling his son out from surgery was unexplainable. I can’t wait to embark on this journey as parents together.
