Does every kid have a fascination with toilet paper and tampons? Because mine does. Along with magazines, my wallet, and cords. His box of toys, jumper, and walker are always stashed away in the corner because his interest falls within 2.4 seconds.
Isn’t it funny how all kids are the same, but then totally and completely different? Like all kids are you know, kids… they have tantrums, they don’t listen at times, they grow, and learn and play, but every one has their own unique personality and I think that’s one of my favorite things that I admire watching my kids grow.
I love all of the milestones that they hit, learning what their favorite color is at the moment and their favorite flavor of ice cream, but it’s the very best HEARING what comes out of their mouth. What they find funny is beyond entertaining, and the way they look at life is incredible. Kids are raw, and unfiltered. They tell you exactly what is on their mind and when they are set on something, they go for it full throttle. Watching Ava grow into her own little person has been so much fun. There are times where I look at her in disbelief and wonder how the heck she got so smart. I love hearing her stories and sharing all the things she does with me. I’ve realized creeping up on age 5, the girl rarely stops talking. But that’s fine with me, keep it comin’ girl!
Nolan will be 11 months on the 26th, and lately I have REALLY seen his personality shine. He loves to be funny, just like his sister and he loves to smile. He loves to be apart of everything your doing and loves to help. Recently, he’s taught himself how to pretend to talk on the phone. So whenever he sees me on the phone, he puts his hand to his ear and talks. I almost fell over and died due to cuteness when I first saw it. He SNORTS! Ava snorts too, I’m prettttty sure they got that from me, hehe. I really can’t wait to see these two kiddos grow together!
Have you seen any new personality traits in your kiddos lately that have just made your heart flutter?
