It was such a pretty day on Friday, and we had absolutely nothing important to do. So, we went out to the pier to explore. As soon as we got out of the car Ava mentioned how “gawwgeus” everything was. She’s a true lover of nature. We walked up and down the pier, looking at seals, birds, and observing the fisherman. She was really intrigued by them, making sure to ask them an array of questions. Later, as we were walking back, I had a wiggly, tired baby in my arms and a little girl who looked up at me and said, “Mama, I love you. Thank you for being the best.”
