I’ll admit something right now. I’m the WORST at coming up with fun things for the kids to do. When we decided that I was going to be a stay at home mom once Nolan was born I though, eh… piece of cake. How hard can it be? Geeeeze. Was I wrong.
It’s been absolutely beautiful out. Summer has definitely peeked it’s way through Spring, so that means more time outside rather than inside. No electronics, no TV, no technology to distract us. Just good plain old sunshine and fresh air, but then that leads me to my predicament. What are we going to do? I’m terrible. My idea of fun is going to Target to go shopping for things I don’t need (yes my husband loooves that about me)!
A little side note, I just got super distracted browsing through blogs on topbabyblogs.com. Man, I really have to work on my photog skills. Some of you have some really beautiful photos.
Getting back to my predicament… how should I solve this? Being a very bland person with not so much of an imagination, this may be a tad challenging. Getting down on the ground and pretending to be a frog with Ava just doesn’t happen. Like I said, no imagination. How to keep two kids, happy, and outdoors this summer while keeping me sane at the same time? Alright, a bucket list. I like lists. Being able to check things off feels good. You feel accomplished. I’ve always thought up bucket lists in my head… you know, where you want to go in your lifetime, what you want to do before you die. I believe I have a board on Pinterest I’ve created with all the places I’ve found I want to travel to. So silly it’s on Pinterest.
So here it is! Our summer bucket list and I’ll document it as we check things off the whole way through. I think I’m more excited than Ava!
